What You'll Do

Whether you’re front-end, back-end, or both, you’’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies, such as note, NET 5, Java Spring Boot, and Spark, to increase efficiency on projects, helping us stride towards our mission of being a carbon-zero energy provider by 2050.

How You'll Do It

  • Be actively involved in the product development process from ideation to launch for our products.
  • Work closely with different disciplines and key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver the best digital experiences for our users.
  • Write logical and intelligent code to better the digital experience both internally and externally.
  • Design observable and resilient systems to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to the engineering culture across the organisation (eg, innovation, process improvements, introduction of technologies, and mentorship).
  • Contribute to system design and architectural discussions.
  • Constructively challenge to improve processes and ways of working and play a key role in how we move into this digital transformation.

What You'll Need

Our digital team are hiring Software Engineers across various levels. To be part of our digital transformation you ideally have:

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and share with the wider engineering community
  • A breadth of knowledge across multiple technologies with a deep understanding of at least one of the following (or transferable skills from similar):
    • Azure
    • C#
    • TypeScript
    • ReactJS
  • Experience with the following tech stack (and/or): React, Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, front-end technologies
  • A huge plus to us is Azure, AWS, or any other cloud services
  • Independently determines/develops approach to solutions
